Welcome to the Neches River Festival, Inc. website.

This year marks the 64th celebration of the Neches River Festival. The Festival recognizes the importance of the Neches River, for the vital role it plays in our community by providing life-sustaining natural resources, economic vitality and countless recreational opportunities.

The Festival also honors our most precious gift, our children. By tradition, we pay tribute to our high school seniors as we join them in anticipating their coming graduation, while recognizing that our future depends on them.

The 2012 Neches River Festival features many exciting events, including:

Tuesday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m.	Beaumont Country Club will being the Reign of King Neches the 64th
*Thursday, April 19* at 10:00 a.m.**	Citizen of the Year Presentation, MCM Elegante Hotel
Saturday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m.	The Royal Court will parade downtown from MLK to the Crockett Street Entertainment Complex

Sunday, April 22	The Beaumont Art League will host the River Festival Art show highlighting local artists and the 62nd Garden Club Flower Show will be held at the Tyrrell Park Conservatory;

Friday, April 27	The King will attend a bridge tournament at the Bridge Studio

Saturday, April 28	The coronation of Queen Neches the 64th and her royal court at the Julie Rogers Theater, with the Coronation Ball to follow.

This year we will proudly provide two scholarships to Lamar University to participants in the Festival.
