Welcome to the Neches River Festival, Inc. website.
This year marks the 68th celebration of the Neches River Festival. The Festival recognizes the importance of the Neches River, for the vital role it plays in our community by providing life-sustaining natural resources, economic vitality and countless recreational opportunities.
The Festival also honors our most precious gift, our children. By tradition, we pay tribute to our high school seniors as we join them in anticipating their coming graduation, while recognizing that our future depends on them.
|The 2016 Neches River Festival features many exciting events, including:
| King's Arrival and Media Party at the Beaumont Country Club, 5:30 pm to 7:00 p.m.
| Citizen of the Year Presentation, MCM Elegante Hotel, 10:00 a.m.
| The Royal Court will parade downtown from MLK to the Riverfront Park, 10:00 a.m.
| The Beaumont Art League will host the River Festival Art show highlighting local artists.
68th Milady Garden Club Flower Show at the Tyrrell Park Conservatory.
Symphony League Pool Party 5:30pm
| The King will attend a bridge tournament at the Bridge Studio
| The coronation of Queen Neches the 68th and her royal court at the Julie Rogers Theater, with the Coronation Ball to follow.

This year we will proudly provide two scholarships to Lamar University to participants in the Festival.
Neches the 68th was crowned Saturday night, April 9, 2016, at the
Julie Rogers Theatre in Beaumont.
Queen Neches is Olivia Katherine Lombardo
of Beaumont. She is the daughter of Dr.
and Mrs. Thomas Randolph Lombardo. She
is a senior at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School.
Olivia joins the court of King Neches 68th,
Joseph Vincent Tortorice, Jr.
